Gives great insight into how messed up our priorities are and how we are deceived by the media and our emotions. Feeds my anti-govt, media, corporation tendencies.
A little extreme in the points but sometimes you need to speak loud enough to get everyones attention. I loved the points he was trying to get across and it made me laugh because he hit home on many occasions.
He has been dubbed a conspiracy theorist but if you research what he claims to know…you will find a whole new world of politics and how the west has imposed itself on the rest of the world. After reading it, you will think that it is common sense. A lot of what he is saying is, ‘Do unto others as you would have done to you’ but rather than focusing on personal morals, he is targeting governments and foreign policy. A must read if you want to know why the rest of the world doesn’t like us.
The video speaks for itself. Priorities.

One of the best books I have read explaining our technology, our media and our world view. It is a borrowed book that I will definitely purchase and add to the library.
This, along with McLaren’s Generous Orthodoxy was were it all started for me. Hearing about a pastor that swears and how earthy the gospel can be really kickstarted most of the questions I came to face. Reading these two books at the same time was like a gasoline and fire.
Realized that Bono is human. Also realized that he is working out his salvation just like you and me. A lot of great insights, not only into who Bono is but there is a lot that can apply to your life.
